National and Metro Housing Market Indicators

One row per metropolitan area or national aggregate, housing-market segment, and quarter with AEI Housing Center measures of U.S. home sales, median sale price, mortgage default stress, housing supply, new construction, and home price appreciation. Coverage runs quarterly from 2012:Q1 through 2025:Q4 for the National aggregate and major U.S. metros. The table mixes the National aggregate with metro rows, and metrics should be filtered or grouped by segment before comparison.
